Summary: We use essential cookies to make our service work, analytics cookies to understand usage, and optional marketing cookies to show relevant ads. You can control non-essential cookies at any time through our cookie preference centre or your browser settings.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember information about your visit — such as your preferred language, whether you are logged in, or items in a shopping basket.
In addition to cookies, we may also use similar technologies such as:
- Local storage / session storage — data stored in your browser that persists between tabs or sessions
- Pixel tags (web beacons) — tiny invisible images used to track opens and page visits
- Fingerprinting — we do not use browser fingerprinting
References to “cookies” in this policy include all similar tracking technologies unless stated otherwise.

7. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services we use. We do not control these cookies and they are governed by the third party’s own privacy and cookie policies:
8. Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two duration categories:
- Session cookies — Deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for things like CSRF tokens and temporary queue tokens.
- Persistent cookies — Remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Used for authentication, preferences, and analytics. Durations are listed in the tables above.
All persistent cookies placed by WaitlessFlow expire within 24 months. We review our cookie list at least annually and remove any that are no longer necessary.
9. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
When you first visit waitlessflow.com, a cookie banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your choices by category. You can revisit your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any page.
Your choices are respected immediately. If you decline analytics or marketing cookies, those scripts will not load. Your preference is stored in the wf_consent cookie for 12 months so you are not prompted again.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. It also does not affect processing that is based on a legal basis other than consent (e.g., essential cookies required to provide the Service).
10. Browser Controls
You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete individual cookies
- Block all cookies or block cookies from specific sites
- Block third-party cookies
- Clear all cookies when you close the browser
Instructions for the most common browsers:
- Google Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox — Options › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Apple Safari — Preferences › Privacy › Manage Website Data
- Microsoft Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Cookies and site data
Note: Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the WaitlessFlow dashboard. Blocking third-party cookies may affect embedded payment forms (Stripe) and support chat (Intercom).
11. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. WaitlessFlow currently does not alter its cookie behaviour in response to DNT signals because there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to these signals. We recommend using our cookie preference centre or browser settings to control tracking instead.
We do honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for users in California (CCPA) and will treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our use of cookies. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or via a notice on our website.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
